Every child with developmental delay is a universe of untapped potential. Our experiences have shown us that they can learn and thrive; however, their paths to success are as unique as they are and their learning journeys often unfold at a gentler pace.

A child’s brain is most malleable in the first few years of life. This critical period shapes the neural connections fundamental to learning, behavior, and overall well-being. As children grow, these connections become more fixed. Therefore, the younger a child is when this support begins, the more profound the impact.

• Government records indicate that Pallipattu Taluk in Thiruvallur District is home to over 2,800 individuals with disabilities.
• Our baseline survey revealed that more than 300 children in this region live with intellectual disabilities and lack access to essential rehabilitation services such as special education, physiotherapy, speech, and occupational therapy.
• There is no specialized school or rehabilitation center within a 150-kilometer radius of the area.

Driven by this realization, we have begun building a Special School at Ramasamudram Village in Pallipattu Taluk, dedicated to empowering children with intellectual disabilities and developmental delay. By providing critical early intervention support and education at no cost, we aim to give these children the best possible start in life!
